Pancreatic cancer is the 4th leading cause of cancer death in the United States. Pancreatic cancer research constitutes less than two percent of the National Cancer Institute’s federal research funding — a figure far too low given the severity of the disease. As two individuals who have watched loved ones battle this disease, it has motivated us to not only jump start POWCOR in order to fundraise for a cure, but also spread knowledge and information about this illness.
